Arevipharma once again supported the “Takte gegen Krebs” charity concert in Dresden this year. Every year, this moving concert format not only draws attention to the challenges and consequences of cancer, but also sends out a powerful signal of solidarity and support.
The special thing about “Takte gegen Krebs” is that concertgoers and sponsors symbolically purchase individual bars of a piece of music. Bars that are not sold remain unplayed. The resulting silence symbolizes the cuts in life that sufferers and their families have to endure.
The idea for “Takte gegen Krebs” was developed at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) in Heidelberg, which was awarded the German Fundraising Prize. The donations benefit oncological research projects and help to make patients’ stays at the NCT and University Cancer Centers (UCC) as pleasant as possible.
As a sponsor of the event, two Arevipharma employees were once again able to attend this year’s event with their companions. We are proud to support this charity concert together with other well-known Dresden companies such as Apogepha and Rotop Pharma and will be involved again next year.
