This year, Arevipharma once again supported the benefit concert “Beats Against Cancer” in Dresden. This moving concert format not only draws attention to the challenges and hardships of a cancer diagnosis each year, but also consistently sends a powerful message of solidarity and support.

What makes “Beats Against Cancer” special: concertgoers and sponsors symbolically purchase individual measures of a piece of music. Measures that are not sold remain unplayed. The resulting silence symbolizes the profound disruptions in life that patients and their families must endure.

The idea for “Beats Against Cancer” was developed at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) in Heidelberg, for which it received the German Fundraising Award. The donations benefit oncological research projects and help make the stay of patients at the NCT and University Cancer Centers (UCC) as pleasant as possible.

As a sponsor of the event, two Arevipharma employees and their companions were once again able to attend this year. We are proud to support this benefit concert together with other well-known Dresden companies such as Apogepha and Rotop Pharma, and we will continue our commitment next year.
